[He has often been told that he has to work on things, but never on that.]

Because you can't just let everyone walk all over you, of course! [ Even though, at times, it's exactly what Minako does to Sena.. but she'd never take it too far, she's too nice for that. ] It's good to want to help and please other people, but sometimes you've got to realise when people are just using you. Otherwise you might get hurt.

[Oh, but Sena realizes it. Most of the time at least, Miu wasn't exactly using him but making fun of him.]

Well, Miu wasn't using me... Was she? I mean, she just tricked me.

[Totally not mentioning how things are at his home here, he doesn't know if Minako knows much about Hiruma and Agon but if she doesn't, he doesn't want her to learn about it.]

Yeah, but that kind of stuff probably happens to you more often, doesn't it? [ It's not like she knows just the extent of it in this place, but from what she knows about Sena so far and her interactions with him, she's pretty sure this isn't a really rare case. ]

It's fine if it happens once in a while, but you can't live your whole life like that!

[Sena doesn't want to tell her but he really sucks at lying and it's probably quite easy yo see through that she has hit a bullseye.]

I mean, not everyday there's someone tricking me into searching for them all around!

So are there other moments when people are making you do stuff everyday?

[ AH-HAH. She knew it all along! Although at least Minako isn't as much of a bully as some of the other people that bother him, so she's more tempted to take Sena's side when she hears it's actually this serious.. ]

.. Who are the people who do this kind of stuff to you? Once in a while I can excuse, but that sounds ridiculous! I'll tell them off!

[Bad idea, that's definitively a terrible idea! He doesn't want to imagine what would happen if Minako got involved with Agon or Hiruma. He doesn't want to drag more people down with him just because they try to help him!]

B-Besides... They would deny it. Well, one would, and he's pretty convincing with girls. And it's not that bad, really! We live together here so someone has to take care of the chores and all, I don't mind doing it.

Hey, I might like boys, but I know when boys are just trying to be charming for the sake of it! [ .. sometimes, at least. Some.. times.. ]

No guy is going to fool me that easily, especially not when I'm trying to help out a friend! I'm not just going to go on living here knowing that you're being bullied into doing anything for a couple of guys, that's not right!

But it's okay! Really! Besides, they are the ones assigned as my parents here so there's not much that can be done. I'm glad you want to help me but it's not that bad, trust me.

... Sena-kun. [ Her tone drops a little, sounding a lot more serious when she now stops sounding ridiculously overdramatic. ] You aren't lying about it not being that bad, right? I know I often just sound like some kind of ditzy girl, but I meant everything I said.

If you're hurt, even if it's just a little, then you have to speak up.

Of course not! I'm a horrible liar, Minako-sama, you have already seen me. I can't even keep quiet about the truth if I'm asked about it.

[He sighs, feeling guilty and ashamed about it. If only he was a better liar, maybe things would be easier at times.]

But seriously, as long as I do the chores Agon doesn't punch or kick me! Unless he's drunk, but I just avoid him when he's like that. Oh, and there was that time with the star stickers but I guess that was my own fault for putting them on him without asking.

[Sage nod, see Minako, nothing is bad or horrible.]

[ Can anyone seriously think this way? It's okay because as long as he does what he doesn't have to do in the first place he doesn't get hit? She did realise Sena was meek, but to this extent..

Minako lets go of his arm, instead turning to look at him with a serious look on her face and grabbing his hand. ]

You're not going home today. [ Maybe she's not much better than Agon to put it that way, but she has to get Sena out of there. If not just for a night. ] We'll have a sleepover at my place, and if he says anything about it, then you can blame me.

[Sena blinks and stares for a long moment at that. Part of him worrying because he can't do that, much less blame Minako for it. Another part because he... Would like that, because then he would be able to sleep without worrying about being attacked while he's asleep. Sure, it hasn't happened yet but it's hard to know with Agon.]

Uh... But... No, I can't do that. I can't blame you, e-even if he took it seriously then he would go after you and... I would prefer if you stayed far from him. Even if you're a girl I don't know what he could do.

[He pauses.]

But... I... I guess I could go home and prepare the dinner and then go with you?

.. Don't worry.

[ There's a moment of hesitating before she says it. She knows she should keep it a secret, but this is a pretty serious case. And anything at all that can make Sena feel a little more safe is important enough to let him in on it - it's not as crucial to do it here as it is at home, either way. And she already told Hong Kong too and tried to tell Hanako way back..

Minako grabs her crescent moon shaped compact out of her pocket and opens it, revealing the mirror on the inside - the mirror that shows a person's true self, or at least looks through disguises. And so Minako is clearly visible in the mirror image as Sailor Venus, even winking at him. ]

I can handle him if he does try something. [ Without having to say too much about her special powers, this at least indicates she is more than what she seems, right? ]

[He doesn't really understand it, but the mirror is clearly magical and Minako is so confident...]

I guess it's okay then... But are you sure it isn't a bad thing to not make them dinner at least?

[Leaving the punishments aside, his personality makes it hard to abandon them like that.]

Come on, in this day and age they can just order something! [ There's probably at least some food place in all of Holly Heights that does deliveries, right. Minako's counting on it, at least, and it's also just that she worries that if he goes back they'll keep him there and no way she's letting that happen. ] They'll be fine even without you tonight!

Y-Yes but they would get angry. I can just go and prepare them dinner, i-it's not as if I'm locked there?

[He's at the end of his rope, though, so he isn't going to be able to argue much more.]

[ What a hopeless case.. it's saying a lot when even Minako - of all people - has to do this much prodding to even try and get something through to his head. ]

I can't say that in this world it's only about making yourself happy, but.. you can't just keep doing stuff just since people will get angry otherwise. That's no way to live.

But if other people get angry at me, I won't be happy. In fact in this case I could end hurt, with another black eye or worse.

[He sighs, and finally nods. To try to argue with her has only served to remind himself why he really would wish this.]

Okay... If it's really fine with you and I won't be an annoyance to your family, I would like to go. I could use a good night of sleep, actually.

Don't worry, don't worry! I bet Ib-chan and Tsugumi-chan will just love you! [ Wink. ] And Isaac-kun is a nice guy, so I doubt he'll mind it either. Besides, the more the berrier!
