[ Minako's always busy with tons of things, even if they might not necessarily be important, but when she hears that she's got a text message she at least bothers to check it out right away. Except when she reads the content, her expression lowers a little for a moment-- she hadn't really been following the outcome of the elections, but she still feels sorry for the girl. Ib had been trying really hard, after all. ]
What are you apologizing for? Don't worry! [ So the least she can do is try to reassure her. ] Just wait at home for a little bit, okay? I'll be home with a surprise before you know it!
[ Because she doesn't have a mother to make proud anymore and Minako really seems to want her to win these things. But that's too complicated to word in a text so instead she'll just do as she's told. ]
[ It takes a little while since Minako ended up taking a detour to go home, leaving Chibiusa and Usagi in charge of the cafe for a little bit, to pick up some cake at a place that wasn't their cafe since that would feel a little too cheap.. but then she arrives back home, the cake already in her hands. ]
