[ So Erina isn't exactly familiar with this 'Secret Santa' business and the only thing she's actually delighted about is the fact that she's gifting someone that she knows. If it were a stranger the most that she would have given them was a card. One that she wouldn't even have bothered to write in or properly put in an envelope, in all honesty.
But because this is for Minako, a friend (and boss, but that's a fact that she likes to ignore), she's going to at least put some effort into this.
Probably too much effort. No one has really explained Erina that surprising people by being in their house completely unannounced in the dark might cause a heart attack or worse. But she's experienced enough horrors being Minako's friend, so this time the older girl is going to have to suffer.
At least she brought cake, and even added a few candles that were still brightly lit when Minako walks through the door. And maybe she can also spot the small bag slung around her arm holding a pair of shoes that she happened to buy simply because they were cute. And Minako's cute. On certain days.
(And she wasn't wearing a similar pair because she's heard that friends usually do that kind of thing. Nope.) ]

[ At least she doesn't look too startled. Surprised? Sure, she didn't expect Erina to show up in her house in the dark, but on the other hand, Minako is much more of a trained soldier than she gives away - if something like this would startle her, it'd be a shame on her plight, honestly.
It doesn't stop her from blinking between Erina and the cake for a few moments though, slowly opening and closing her mouth until she can find the words and summon a little bit more of her usual spirit. ]
[ Well, at least that explanation seals the deal. It might still have been terribly odd to anyone else, but Minako thinks she knows Erina well enough to know this is just a case of an aim and miss on the social field.

It's why when the girl leans in and winks she can feel her jaw drop, ashamed that she actually allowed herself to show her surprise so quickly. ]

Minako coughs a little at the sudden movement of whipped cream straight into her mouth, but thankfully it's nothing too bad, especially not since she doesn't love her good cheer. Let's be real, when does Minako ever lose that.. instead she just lets out a sound that's a combination of laughing and coughing as she wipes some of that cake off her face. ]
I guess you didn't like that idea a whole lot, huh?

And somehow.. well, it doesn't really feel bad. It's nothing that makes her mad right now, even though she might have playfully become angry at other people doing it - but Erina was standing here all of a sudden in the middle of her house with said cake, and somehow that makes everything else involving it immediately ten times more endearing.
So once she's properly cleaned off, she smiles. ]
