Fourthwalling: generally yes, although it's a little more difficult in the far shore where minako is a shinki and doesn't remember anything.. please don't bring up anything out loud that would make her brain explode, but feel free to go for it in internal narration or whatever!
Offensive subjects (elaborate): i don't want to play out anything involving sexual assault. the mention of it as characters talk (about a past event, for example) is fine though.
