[ That.. is certainly an unexpected call she's suddenly getting - especially when she hears the content of said call. Minako isn't oblivious enough to miss that hint to his tone that indicates he's drunk, and then there's the words he's saying on top of it. ]

Yes, of course I'm here.

[ She frowns as she listens to his voice. ]

What happened..? Who left? [ He sounds so weirdly upset - especially by Ren standards. She hasn't seen him do anything but smile before, right? ]

I'm so glad.

[He actually does sound relieved. And will likely regret showing this kind of side to so many people in the morning, whoops.]

... a lot of people in the recent months. People I cared for... grew close to.

[ It's a small noise. At first Minako says nothing more, because she's trying to think really quickly here of what to tell him. What might comfort him. Especially when she knows that this is a problem she can't help - that people seem to appear and disappear without rhyme or reason, without any way to say goodbye.

She holds her breath before slowly exhaling. ]

[ It's a little surprising - but not in a bad way! After all, Minako just knows Usagi will be so happy to see Mamoru. And whenever Usagi is happy, Minako is glad as well. ]

you should've given me a bit more preparation time!! i could've set up something super romantic for you two!!!

but i guess i can at least still do something on a smaller scale. i have an entire place of potential romantic locations in this place, you know!

[ It's a ditzy sort of surprise, seemingly. The kind that fits Minako's exterior attitude.

But in all actuality, she's surprised on a deeper level like that. Just seeing this text hits her feelings in an odd, unexpected way. She only talked to Amy once - and does remember who the other is, thankfully - and yet the other is already giving her a gift??

That's.. wild. Not in a bad way! But wild all the same, and Minako certainly is more touched than she's showing. ]

of course, i'm always available for gifts!!!! should i come somewhere?

[ In Amy's mind, Minako is either an actual goddess and in which case deserves tribute, or just a beautiful girl who values love and beauty and therefore still deserves something nice. Either way, she left quite an impression on Amy at the party, and Amy wanted to treat her. ]

The tune is romantic and there is "Never Give Up On Love" written on the box's lid. Somehow, rather than being a man and a woman dancing as you'd expect, the two dancers seem to be women...

There is a poem on the card, about love and dreams. It's signed by Monika. ]

[ This isn't anything like the monster quest they took on together. Tsumugi's staying far, far away from all the danger, because he knows he doesn't have the strength, ability, or courage to face it. But he knows several people who're much stronger than him, much more equipped to combat an army of wraiths.

Shortly after texting his housemate, he opens up a new message and types: ]

Minako-chan, when you're able to, can you let me know if you're okay?

[ He won't be surprised if she doesn't respond right away - in fact, he'd much rather not distract her if she's in the middle of a fight - but he needs to know, for his own sake. ]

[ There's definitely not a reply right away.

In fact, not a single reply arrives all day. It's not until the day after that there's finally a new message awaiting him. ]

[ Yeah, Minako. Sure. You're perfectly fine, that's clearly why you didn't text back all day... ]

It's... definitely a little concerning that she doesn't reply until much later. But he's also relieved that she responds at all. At the very least, she's alive. ]

[ He started a video, waving in greeting with a guitar in his hands as he sits cross legged by his bed - his familiar grooming herself and lounging. ]

Hey! So I wasn't sure what kind of music you liked so, I thought I'd play my favorite song and...I guess we'll see!

[ And then he starts the the song he says is his favorite and with the amount of care he has to sing and play it, it's probably true. ]

[ Oh, that's so cute?! Minako has no idea what to expect when the video starts, but then he starts playing and singing like that, and she gets it. It's not even that she recognizes the song at all - but it doesn't matter.

It's just nice, seeing him sitting there. Singing and playing, without there being some purpose to it.

Just for fun.

When the song ends, Minako cheers like she's a 500 people audience rather than just one person, making sure her reply is video as well so she can give him the proper reaction - standing up and cheering. ]

Wow, wow, that was so good..! You really put all of your heart into that one! [ And that's exactly what she wanted to see, right? ] Did you enjoy it? It's fun, right?

I did actually. It's nice to be able to play like this after such a long time. I hardly had time back home, and whenever I did the kids usually asked for the same song over and over. Not to mention they have me sing to them till my throat is sore.
