[when Minako wakes up and walks out of her bedroom on the 22nd, her kitchen will have suddenly turned into a garden; every available surface sports flowers on it, of all shapes and colours, each with a note attached that says both to Minako and the name of the sender. they've all been wrapped together into their bundles with lovely, brightly-coloured ribbons (and while it doesn't seem to be a professional job, they hold together well enough). anything with a pocket will have a flower or ten tucked into it, including her coat, her shoes, and her cookie jar. a trail of orange rose petals will lead her through the house, out the door, and to her front porch, where another trove of flowers awaits her (with a bouquet of course sticking directly out of her mailbox)]

[ So Erina isn't exactly familiar with this 'Secret Santa' business and the only thing she's actually delighted about is the fact that she's gifting someone that she knows. If it were a stranger the most that she would have given them was a card. One that she wouldn't even have bothered to write in or properly put in an envelope, in all honesty.
But because this is for Minako, a friend (and boss, but that's a fact that she likes to ignore), she's going to at least put some effort into this.
Probably too much effort. No one has really explained Erina that surprising people by being in their house completely unannounced in the dark might cause a heart attack or worse. But she's experienced enough horrors being Minako's friend, so this time the older girl is going to have to suffer.
At least she brought cake, and even added a few candles that were still brightly lit when Minako walks through the door. And maybe she can also spot the small bag slung around her arm holding a pair of shoes that she happened to buy simply because they were cute. And Minako's cute. On certain days.
(And she wasn't wearing a similar pair because she's heard that friends usually do that kind of thing. Nope.) ]

[ It may not be much, but this Christmas Germany is thinking of all the people that he has grown 'fond' of both from home and from Holly Heights. He would have given people advent calendars at the beginning of the month, but things had been a little too hectic to make one for everyone. Instead he opted for nicely wrapped mini stollen, a dozen pfeffernusse and nicely handwritten notes (each one is personalised) that read as the following:
"Merry Christmas! It isn't much but I hope you enjoy it all the same, I wish you many blessings in the coming year. Thank you for all your help. - Germany"

[makoto's gift to minako... was supposed to be for her birthday, but he didn't finish it in time. he's not artistic by any means so he actually didn't put any work on the actual photo albums (in all those colours!). the only one with any photographs in it is the green one; it's minako's job to fill up the rest with her own.]
